My Thoughts: As a fan of most things vintage, I was so pleased to find such an old cookbook with recipes made and cooked by a woman of African descent. Abby Fisher learned these recipes on a plantation in the 19th century. I look forward to mastering the recipes of the talented Mrs. Fisher.
