Behind the Scenes Photos | Madam C.J. Walker Mini Series

One of the great things about Blair Underwood (besides his good looks and talent) is how engaging he is. Because of how active he is on his social media platforms, period film fans have been gifted with a behind the scenes look at the Madam C.J. Walker mini series. Blair Underwood is playing Charles Joseph Walker, Madam C. J. Walker husband.

We get a nice shoot of the script and Blair in his costume. His demeanor and poise is perfect for stories taken place in the past.  Becasue of how he holds himself the costume looks natural on him; as if he is from the era.

In this photo we can see the care and time given to ensure the accurate period look is captured. Every time I see a new picture from the set, my excitement grows because of how accurate it looks. Accurate period costumes add so much to my viewing experience as a period film and historical costume buff!

We also have a look at  J. Alphonse Nicholson and Blair Underwood on the set on the upcoming Madam C.J. Walker mini series. I can't wait to see the dynamics of their relationships with Sarah and A'Lelia play out on screen.

Underwood was not alone in his social media posts. Actor J. Alphonse Nicholson who is set to play Walker’s son-in-law John Robinson, has also posted an awesome picture on his instagram.
