Write It! - Ralph J Bunche




Today is February 7, 2017 and on August 7, 1904 Ralph Johnson Bunche was born. Bunche would go on to be a political scientist, academic, and diplomat. In 1950 he became the first African American to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his late 1940s mediation in Israel. He was also awarded the Medal of Freedom by President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
